Toby Camping with the Girls, Day 3

A Day of Kayaking and Floating!
Day 3  Full of relaxing, kayaking, floating, stained glass (Charlie Ann), reading and basically staying cool.  It reached 90+ with high humidity!  But, when you are at the lake....who cares...it's perfect!
The day started out slow, with coffee, yogurt and planning.  Everyone pretty much did what ever they wanted!  How wonderful!
Gracie came out in the afternoon and brought a new tube, so everyone had something to float in:)
Peppermint Patty's highlights:  Soaking up the sun....relaxing...
Charlie Ann's highlights:  Stain glass making, with a wonderful backdrop (the lake)
Snooker's Highlights:  Chucked her way through her book...floating...relaxing
Judy's Highlights:  Floating...Floating...Floating...Taking pictures, pictures and more pictures

Sam and Megan joined us at 5:30 for more floating.  Sam even got out the fishing pole...
Supper was great!  Hamburgers, chips, beans, stuffed mushrooms (thanks Sam and Megan) vegetable salad (Charlie Ann's specialty). melon and whatever else we could find in the frig.....
The evening ended with a trip into Fairmont for showers (after all, 3 days is about the max) and coming back for a great night sleep.

Tomorrow, (or today) the girls packed up the camper early (while it was still cool) and will be another morning of relaxing. Okay, Sharla just informed me that they were going to take off for home...
But before I'm done...Snookers kept track of "Things we learned on the camping trip"
1.  Coffee Creamer container - take off the paper and use it for almonds.
2.  T-shirt:  Cut down the middle and use it as a light jacket.
3.  Use a bar of white soap to get stains out of white clothing
4.  Use a dish drainer for a lid organizer
5.  There is only one rule when camping!  But... It's always rule #1 (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4....) (according to Jukebox)
6.  Snookers learned to swipe
7.  Use shot glasses for individual relish holders ....also party favors....
